Thank God! The ministry of \u201c Spiritual Thermometer, the Spiritual Guidance Model\u201d is a means of increasing the dependence on the Holy Spirit in these extraordinary times for those who seek the truth, for those who are convinced of God's Word and are willing to carry it out, and for those who are in awe of the Lord. It gives us a guide to order our lives (Galatians 5:25) and to alert those who are preparing to meet Jesus Christ. We use the Word of God, especially the biblical accounts of people's lives, to examine the light of our personal growth in new life in Christ Jesus. In a society full of confusion and more virtual scenarios to come, we can grow in joy and peace through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, prudence and self-control, growth in the truth, vigilant prayer, and diligent service.
\nWhen the COVID-19 pneumonia plague spread around the world, temperature measurements and tests were used as preliminary assessments to prevent infection, so that people would be alert and less likely to be infected.
\nThose who believe in Jesus and want to have eternal life want to understand God's will and want God's will to be done through them on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). Often, however, things are not handled or decided as they should be. Whether it is a matter of personal desire or God's will, it is always difficult to understand, and people may even blame others or leave the matter unsettled. If we can use the Bible to examine the spiritual state of light, will it make us more alert?
\nAmong the people recorded in the Bible, why was Abraham, who was called the father of faith, praised by the angels for being a God-fearing man after he had finished the preparation for the offering of Isaac (Genesis 22:12)? The change in the house of King David had been in the making for a long time. Did Solomon's search for wisdom and his marital diplomacy have anything to do with the division of the kingdom of David into two?
\n\u201cThere is nothing new under the sun\u201d (Ecclesiastes 1:9). The \u201cSpiritual Thermometer\uff0cthe Spiritual Guidance Model\u201d can help us to examine our spiritual landscape through the lives of familiar biblical characters, so that we can learn from history and from the past to prepare for our future. The Holy Spirit and Bible Words can awaken our true selves, thereby we can live abundantly through the fruits of the Spirit, and we can enter abundantly into the Kingdom of God (2 Peter 1:11).
