We are grateful to have Dr. Candy Yeung been invited to teach the Parent Education Programme at YCCECC from 6 May 2025. Using the Spiritual Guidance Model (also known as the ‘Spiritual Thermometer’) as a tool, the programme explores the influence of parents on the development of their children through the biblical history of parenting by historical figures such as Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph and guides participants to reflect on the challenges of parenting their children, with the hope of enhancing their ability to face the challenges of parenting. It also guides participants to reflect on the impact of parenting on the development of their children, with a view to enhancing their ability to face up to the challenges of parenting.
