Thank God for His caring and thoughtfulness, thank the Lord Jesus Christ for His walk, and thank the Holy Spirit for His guidance! On 12 August 2022, “Spiritual Guidance (SG) Model” was officially incorporated as “The Spiritual Guidance Model Limited” (SG Model/SGM”). At the same time, by God's miraculous grace, SG Model became a non-profit charitable organization in the same month and was granted tax exemption under the Inland Revenue Ordinance, encouraging supporters to make donation to further promote the development of the ministry. We thank the Lord for His grace! Thanks to the brothers and sisters, for your prayers and watching over!
In November 2023, our organization joined the Hong Kong Association of Christian Organizations (HKACO) as a member. This additional organizational status enables SGM/Spiritual Thermometer to better serve those whom the Lord loves and the communities He cares for. In addition to churches of various denominations, theological seminaries, evangelistic organizations and schools, SGM/Spiritual Thermometer continues to have new partners to join us in expanding the ministry of the Kingdom of Heaven. Furthermore, drawing on a decade of research and ministry experience, and in continued collaboration with Tien Dao Publishing House, “Spiritual Thermometer Volume III: The Leadership in Context” will be published in October 2026. This book is accompanied by a 13-episode video series produced by Trans World Radio (HK), which shares the responses of biblical figures and contemporary believers facing similar tests, offering mutual encouragement. To enable readers to experience the SGM/Spiritual Thermometer for themselves, we have also co-organised numerous public talks, workshops, courses and retreats with ten organizations in the coming year and a half. The SGM/Spiritual Thermometer launched the first edition of its two-year certificate program in Spiritual Immunity Leadership and Training (SILT, also known as the ‘Clay’ Program) in January 2025. Through both face-to-face and online sessions, the program utilizes the Spiritual Thermometer to examine changes in the spiritual immunity of biblical figures such as Samuel, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph and Daniel. This helps young people to use these figures as mirrors for self-reflection on their own spiritual lives, deepen their personal relationship with God, and enhance their own spiritual immunity. This is complemented by experiential learning activities such as individual and small-group spiritual guidance, personal and group reflection, social outreach ministry, and practical supervision. By integrating theory with practice, the program trains young people to serve in real-world settings in accordance with biblical truth, enabling them to continue to rely steadfastly on God, work for Him, and co-operate with Him in an ever-changing world. Through group retreats, young people are helped to build spiritual friendships, foster collective spiritual resilience, and work together in unity to serve according to their gifts, edifying one another and bringing glory to God and benefit to others. By God’s grace, this group of young people, willing to be moulded by God, has now completed the entire two-year program!
God’s thoughts are higher than our own. The second edition of the one-year ‘Spiritual Immunity Leadership’ (SIL) certificate program (also known as the ‘Relationship’ Program) commenced in July 2025, delivered in a blended format combining in-person and online sessions. The ‘Relationship’ Program aims to nurture a group of believers ranging from middle-aged to retired, accompanying them in their ongoing spiritual growth whilst deepening their personal relationship with God and enhancing both individual and group spiritual immunity. By using a ‘spiritual thermometer’ to examine changes in the spiritual immunity of biblical figures, the program helps participants to reflect on their own spiritual lives, using others as mirrors and history as a guide. At the same time, the course employs experiential learning, complemented by personal spiritual guidance, individual and small-group reflection, and collective retreats. By integrating theory with practice, it enables participants to continue to rely steadfastly on God, work for Him and in partnership with Him amidst a changing world, passing on what they have received and their testimonies to those around them and to the next generation, whilst further deepening their relationships with God, themselves and others. By God’s grace, this group of mature believers has now successfully completed the full year-long course!
The students from both programs received their graduation certificates at the graduation ceremony in July 2026, in the presence of three Honorary Advisory Pastors, their relatives and friends, and guests. May they continue to rely steadfastly on God, live out their true selves, and bear witness to the Lord in ways that glorify God and benefit others!
We are a group of brothers and sisters who follow the Lord with one heart and one mind, and we sincerely present to the Creator of heaven and earth a biblically based and truthful “SG Model/SGM/Spiritual Thermometer” ministry. This is just like Solomon's dedication to the temple in the past. We feel deeply about Solomon’s prayers. He said: “Lord, the God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven or on earth-you who keep your covenant of love with your servants who continue wholeheartedly in your way. You have kept your promise to your servant David my father; with your mouth you have promised and with your hand you have fulfilled it-as it is today. ”(II Chronicles 6:14-15, NIV). May our ministry of “SG Model/SGM/Spiritual Thermometer” please God, benefit people, and glorify God.
