Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education holds the "Second Symposium on Early Childhood Education and Chinese Mengxue" (15 March 2025) 

Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education (YCCECE) held the "Second Symposium on Early Childhood Education and Chinese Mengxue " on 15 March 2025. Dr. Candy Yeung, founder and honorary chairperson of Spiritual Guidance Model Ltd., served as the guest speaker and talked about the family education concept in the Bible. In her speech, Dr. Candy elaborated in details on the reasons for choosing the Bible as a guide for family education, emphasizing the Bible’s authenticity, objectivity, comprehensiveness, and its rich life-like examples, from the birth of a child, to growing up, to starting a family, becoming a parent, and even a grandparent, there are both positive and negative cases. Dr. Candy shared the biblical concepts of family education and her experience in how to put them into practice in her own life and in the families she served. She shared with the participants her experience from "tiger mum" to "pandas mum" and the story of walking with the care-takers of the families she served (parents, grandparents, etc.) to become "close-knit families full of love and joy." In addition, in the dialogue session between the Bible and the Book of Changes, Dr. Candy shared her experience in applying Spiritual Thermometers and Spiritual Guidance(SG) model in daily life, especially the tension between the "true self" and the "false self" mentioned in the Bible that arises in trials and temptations.
