Spiritual Thermometer: Activities from mid-2026 to late 2027

The Spiritual Thermometer is a comprehensive, Bible-based tool that integrates spiritual formation, spiritual direction, Christian counselling and psychology. Guided by the Holy Spirit, it helps believers build and nurture their spiritual lives. This tool is designed to assist believers in assessing their spiritual development stage and strengthening their spiritual immunity, serving as a vital starting point for deepening their relationship with God. As of March 2026, the ministry has served over 70 denominations, organizations and independent churches, with a cumulative total of more than 5,000 person-times.
We are grateful that the Spiritual Thermometer is co-organizing many activities with various spiritual communities. Trans World Radio (TWR) will produce 13 episodes videos, which will be available on the Spiritual Thermometer (SG Model/SGM) and TWR websites from July 2026 onwards for free. The Christian Ministry to Visually Impaired Persons (CMVIP) will adapt three books of Spiritual Thermometer into audiobooks and Braille books. In particular, the audiobook and braille versions of the second book, “Spiritual Thermometer II – Intimate or Not? My relationship with God”, will be released first in August 2026, available to CMVIP members for free; whilst the adaptation of the third book and the first book is expected to be completed in January and May 2027 respectively. Tien Dao Publishing House plans to publish the physical book (Traditional Chinese) and e-book (Traditional and Simplified Chinese) of “Spiritual Thermometer Volume III: The Leadership in Context” in October 2026. The Tien Dao Worldwide Christian Media Association will also continue to organize the ‘Spiritual Care: Intimacy with God’ lecture series.
In addition, the Christian Ministry Institute, the Asian Outreach Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Swatow Christian Church, the Tseung Kwan O Peace Evangelical Centre, the Levites Institute, and the Spirituality Division of Tao Fong Shan Christian Centre will provide a practical platform for those who wish to build a healthy and intimate relationship with God through lectures, workshops, online and in-person courses, retreats, book fairs. This form also contains information on pre-ordering “Spiritual Thermometer Volume III：The Leadership in Context”.
Under the guidance of the Lord Jesus, we serve in our respective roles according to our gifts and visions, working in unity and relying on God whilst submitting to the Holy Spirit’s leading. Through lectures, workshops, in-person and online courses, retreats, physical and e-books (in Traditional and Simplified Chinese), book fairs, and the transition to audiobooks and Braille books, we serve people from all walks of life—regardless of setting, gender, age or social background—in a comprehensive manner. With one heart, we spread the Gospel, helping others and ourselves to establish or deepen a healthy, intimate relationship with God. In this chaotic age, we strive to bear witness to the Lord’s unity (Acts 1:8; Ephesians 4:3; 1 Peter 4:10).
As the Bible records: ‘God has promised with His own mouth and will fulfil it with His own hand’ (2 Chronicles 6:14–15). Just as King Solomon prayed at the dedication of the temple, this is also the foundational vision upon which the Spiritual Thermometer Ministry was established. We firmly believe that, under the guidance of the Lord Jesus Christ, we as a spiritual community can build one another up, show mutual tolerance, serve faithfully according to our respective gifts, submit to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and together bear witness to our faith in the Lord.
